Sophie Everest

is currently completing a practice-based PhD at the Centre for Museology, University of Manchester. Her research considers the intersections of taxidermy objects, film and the institution of the museum. Sophie draws on her experience as a television programme maker at the BBC, using film as a way of thinking about the assemblage of people, places and practices involved in the lives, deaths and artefactual afterlives of animal-objects.
