Natilee Harren

PhD candidate at the University of California, Los Angeles, completing a dissertation entitled Objects Without Object: The Artwork in Flux, 1958-1969. Harren’s project examines the work of the international neo-avantgarde collective Fluxus as a crucial early moment in the post-war transformation of the art object. Last year, Harren was a Fulbright graduate fellow at the Kunsthistorisches Institut of the Universität zu Köln. Her essay, ‘La cédille qui ne finit pas: Robert Filliou, George Brecht, and Fluxus in Villefranche’ will appear in The Getty Research Journal no. 4 (2012).
