My Research intersects and interrogates the overlap between being human and being ‘thing’. Artworks explore the relationship between ethnography and the Visual Arts, in an attempt to materialize the anthropologically unthinkable. Previous pursuits include a BSc in Anthropology (University College London), with interests in animal trapping and the nature/culture dichotomy leading to a residential fellowship at Mildred’s Lane, Pennsylvania. Working primarily in collaboration I have conducted multiple site-specific projects and public infiltrations in the UK and USA. At present I am conversing with quails and other residents in Slab City, a desert community near Niland, CA.

I am part of research network Something from Nothing: Fearless Speculations in Art, Science and Activism (UCSD Centre for the Humanities), and am currently an MFA candidate in Studio Arts at UC San Diego.
